Dave Chappelle Expands Fall Tour, Adds Atlanta Stop at State Farm Arena

Dave Chappelle will be visiting Atlanta this fall. The award-winning comedian added State Farm Arena to the routing of his arena fall tour, expanding his run to 10 shows.

In addition to a Sept. 25 benefit show at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., supporting his alma mater, the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and closing out the inaugural Fastball Comedy Festival at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, on Oct. 18, Chappelle embarks on an arena tour that includes stops at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Spectrum Center in Charlotte, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Austin’s Moody Center, Toyota Center in Houston and now Atlanta’s State Farm Arena before wrapping up the New York Comedy Festival with a two-night stand at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 6 and 7.

The fall dates follow a busy summer. Chappelle played a June arena run through Baltimore, Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, and San Diego, then returned to his hometown of Yellow Springs, Ohio, for the sixth year of Dave Chappelle’s Summer Camp—his series of intimate, outdoor shows at the Wirrig Pavilion. He closed the season abroad, bringing “The Pulling Up Tour” to London for two sold-out nights at the Eventim Apollo before hosting Ms. Lauryn Hill’s inaugural UK “Diaspora Calling!” festival at the Milton Keynes National Bowl.

Chappelle sold out Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena on June 12 and grossed $1,526,685 from 12,387 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice. Rick Greenstein of Gersh books the comedian.
