Lukas Graham Reveals 2027 North American Headline Tour Dates

After Lukas Graham made headlines last week for dropping out of Ed Sheeran’s tour in solidarity with Macklemore, the Grammy-nominated Danish soul-pop artist has announced dates for his own North American headline tour.

Along with Graham, FINNEAS, Aaron Rowe, and Beoga, who had been backing Sheeran on tour, all announced they would be departing the “Loop Tour” after venue owners told promoter Messina Touring Group they wouldn’t host the shows if Macklemore remained on the bill following his statements on stage in support of Palestine.

“We should be able to speak about war, about civilians being killed, about children who deserve to grow up. Wherever they live. Whatever flag flies over them … Money doesn’t give you the right to own the conversation. Nobody’s bank balance should decide who gets to speak or which suffering we’re allowed to acknowledge,” Graham wrote in his statement shared on Instagram , which concluded with three watermelon emojis representing Palestine.

Graham’s upcoming tour promises to “bring his soulful vocals and deeply personal songwriting to audiences across the U.S. and Canada.” He’s supporting his fifth studio album, Good Times , which was released in August via Universal and includes the singles “To Know A Girl” and “Before You Go.” The album is described as “rooted in the Celtic and folk traditions that shaped Graham’s upbringing in Copenhagen,” with the 13-track LP reconnecting “him with the storytelling, acoustic instrumentation and Irish musical heritage at the heart of his earliest relationship with music.”

The 13-date tour begins March 2 at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas, with stops including Atlanta, New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Toronto. Dates are booked through an April 11 show at House of Blues Chicago.

Graham is donating $1 from every ticket sold to Plan International, “supporting the organization’s work protecting children’s rights and advancing equality for girls. Working alongside local partners, Plan International supports children and families facing conflict and displacement through humanitarian relief, protection and access to education.”

Last week Graham shared a post on Instagram about his work with the organization and how, earlier this year, he had become an ambassador for PlanBørnefonden, the Danish part of Plan International.

“I chose to get involved because it matters to me that too many children suffer because of decisions made by adults. Over 200 million children are living through a humanitarian crisis.  Gaza is one of many places where children lack clean water, food, medicine, safety and access to education. Whatever your political views, children should never be the ones to pay the price,” he wrote.

In a caption Graham added, “Followed because of the whole Ed Sheeran thing. At this point people keep saying to keep politics out of their entertainment. Well I’m sure the children of Gaza would do anything not to be a chess piece in this sick game our governments are playing. Children aren’t politics. They are people. Standing up for what’s right isn’t about picking sides. The right thing always gon be the right thing no matter what.”
