New Trailer Released for Brad Bird's Animated Sci-Fi Adventure Ray Gunn

It’s been eight years since Brad Bird last released a movie (2018’s Incredibles 2 ), but there’s a new film on the horizon from the animation legend, and a shiny new trailer for the Netflix original Ray Gunn to prove it.

Here’s the official description, courtesy of Netflix: “In Metropia, a gigantic city in an alternate future as seen from 1939, private eye Raymond Gunn is drawn into a case involving aliens, murder and a multimedia star named Venus Nova.”

At least one of those aliens will be voiced by Tom Waits , as part of a voice cast led by Sam Rockwell as Raymond Gunn and also featuring Scarlett Johansson , Patton Oswalt, Kathryn Hunter, John Ratzenberger, Alan Tudyk, Matt Berry, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Chernus, Kether Donohue, Michelle Rodriguez, Aasif Mandvi, and Matt Jones.
