Peachtree Entertainment to Co-Own, Operate 2,200-Capacity Lexington Venue, The Rail

Concert promoter Peachtree Entertainment has been announced as co-owner and exclusive operator of The Rail, a 2,200-capacity venue as part of the 43-acre The Commons Entertainment District in Lexington, Kentucky, with an expected opening date of 2027.

Peachtree Entertainment will provide operations, marketing, sponsorship, select programming support and more, according to the announcement.

The Rail is located within The Commons, one mile from downtown on Lexington & West Main Street, and its backers see the project as representing a major investment in Lexington’s future.

“Lexington’s cultural and entertainment scene is experiencing great momentum,” said VisitLex President, Mary Quinn Ramer. “The Commons is expanding what an evening or weekend in our city can look like, and The Rail anchors that vision with exceptional energy. A venue of this caliber amplifies our regional entertainment offerings, encourages visitors to stay longer, and gives our local community a premier space to gather.”

The Rail features a capacity of 2,200 guests and more than 1,000 seats for theater-style events, with adaptable flexibility to accommodate national touring artists and while providing state-of-the-art fan amenities. The venue features six full-service bars, two outdoor decks, premium VIP spaces, an exclusive membership program, ample restrooms, and a flexible floor plan, according to the announcement. Also included are three dedicated dressing rooms and an artist lounge as backstage amenities.

The Rail was announced last year with a targeted opening of October 2026 , although promoter MassConcerts is no longer involved.
