Primavera Sound Unveils 25th Anniversary Lineup Featuring Doechii, Bridgers, Williams

Primavera Sound has unveiled the lineup for its 25th edition, taking place at Barcelona’s Parc del Forum, June 3-5, 2027.

The bill is led by Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Hayley Williams, FKA twigs, Turnstile, Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Bad Gyal, Lola Young, ADÉLA, Caroline Polachek, Prospa, and Skrillex b2b Ninajirachi, with more than 150 names confirmed in total.

As usual, the truly eclectic lineup of Primavera Sound has something in store for fans of every genre. Other names on the confirmed bill include contemporary pop by Kim Petras, Tinashe, Shygirl, Theodora and Hearts2Hearts; hard rock by Converge, Full of Hell, Castle Rat and Prostitute; electronic music by BICEP, Joy Orbison, Ibrahim Alfa Jnr and John Talabot.

The list of singer songwriters features 81-year old Vashti Bunyan, chamber pop icon Weyes Blood, Julien Baker, who is resuming her solo career after a hiatus of almost five years, Rebe, Dove Ellis, Guillem Gisbert and Bonnie “Prince” Billy, to name a selection.

Then there’s synth-pop by Metronomy, metal by Warning, hip-hop by JT, flamenco romance from Carlos de Jacoba & Ciutat, the electronic mantras of Headache, the polyrhythmic rock of Don Caballero, the industrial dance music of Boy Harsher and the theatrical pop of Haute & Freddy. Shooting stars Angine de Poitrine are also confirmed.

And when it comes to sounds which are closely linked to the festival’s history, no one beats Bradford Cox, one of the artists who has performed at Primavera Sound more times than anyone else, whether leading Deerhunter or under his alias Atlas Sound, which is also how he’ll return to Primavera Sound 2027.

While June 3-5 are the core festival dates, Primavera Sound 2027 will once again include the free opening day on Wednesday June 2, and the closing electronic party, Primavera Bits, on Sunday June 6, headlined by three electronic pioneers; Richie Hawtin, Four Tet and Dixon.

The festival’s long-standing home, the Parc del Fòrum, will once again serve as the festival’s epicentre, but several spaces and venues around Barcelona will host a complementary program yet to be revealed. In addition, Primavera Pro, Primavera Sound’s meeting point for industry professionals, will hold its 18th edition June 2-5, debuting its new venue at the DHub with a program of conferences and showcases to be announced shortly.
