Bowery Presents Co-Presidents Glancy, Moore Depart; Four Executives Promoted

Longtime Bowery Presents Co-Presidents Jim Glancy and John Moore have exited the company, the AEG Presents-owned promoter recently announced.

Glancy and Moore will step aside to make way for new senior leadership. Josh Bhatti, Charley Magrew, Andrew Martin and Josh Moore have each been promoted to senior vice president and take on distinct roles leading the company.

The new structure builds on the foundation Glancy and Moore established when they co-founded The Bowery Presents as an independent promoter in 2004. Glancy joined as a partner in 2006, and AEG Presents bought the company a decade later.

“Founding The Bowery Presents and partnering together to grow the company has been an incredibly rewarding chapter for us,” said Glancy and Moore in a joint statement. “We’re proud of what we’ve built alongside an extraordinary team and grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey. Andrew, Charley, Josh and Josh have made significant contributions to The Bowery Presents during their respective tenures, so it’s gratifying to see them all take this next step together. We’re leaving the company in capable hands.”

Bhatti, who joined Bowery Presents in 2010, worked as a manager and then at Clear Channel Entertainment before transitioning to indie concert promotion. He will lead the New England regional business and oversee its continued development and operations. The New England office will run as a standalone regional promoter.

Magrew began his career at Hennepin Theatre Trust, promoting shows in Minneapolis before moving to New York. He served in leadership roles at Broadway Across America and Kings Theatre before joining The Bowery Presents in 2015. He will lead marketing, ticketing, sponsorship and venue initiatives based out of the New York office.

Martin started working with AEG Presents in 2007 before joining The Bowery Presents in 2018, most recently serving as vice president and assistant general counsel. Based in Nashville, Martin will oversee business and legal affairs.

Moore started his concert promoting career in Athens, Georgia, and joined AEG Presents in 2005, working out of the New York office. He transitioned to The Bowery Presents in 2007 as one of the original talent buyers for the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Magrew, Martin and Moore will be responsible fore strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the New York office, and all four executives will report to Brent Fedrizzi, AEG Presents’ president of North American regional offices.
