Charli XCX Joins Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's What Happens At Night

Alongside music guy John Cale and fashion guy Marc Jacobs, Martin Scorsese represented motion pictures on the cover of Charli XCX's new album Music, Fashion, Film . (Charli herself joins in on the special edition CD cover, viewable above.) Now he's added the pop star to the cast of his upcoming movie.

Charli will add to her suddenly prolific list of acting roles by appearing in Scorsese's What Happens At Night , Variety reports. Apple and StudioCanal are producing the film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as a married couple who travel to a small European town to adopt a baby, then hit some snags that send them into a state of dark confusion.

Mads Mikkelsen, Patricia Clarkson, and Jared Harris are also in the movie, which has been described as a Gothic psychological horror film. Charli's role has not been revealed, but when it comes to babies, she thinks about it all the time.
