With 2026 box-office totals reported from his ongoing world tour, The Weeknd has added $378 million to the overall gross on his long-running “After Hours til Dawn Tour” that began more than four years ago. With 2,669,733 tickets sold at 48 stadium concerts in Latin America and Europe this year, the tour’s multiple-year gross now stands at $1.07 billion. And counting, as there is still one more leg to go before the tour wraps up later this year. The final trek through Asia begins Sep. 19 in Japan with 17 stadium dates booked through Nov. 5.
The R&B star joins Taylor Swift and Coldplay as the only three concert headliners to surpass the $1 billion threshold in grosses on a single tour. Swift’s “The Eras Tour” racked up a record-setting $2.08 billion in 2023 and 2024 from 10.2 million tickets sold at 149 shows, while Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres Tour” hauled in $1.52 billion from 223 shows during a three-and-a-half-year span, with a 13.1 million attendance total that is the highest ever recorded on one tour. So far, The Weeknd has sold 8,157,456 tickets on his stadium tour that has featured 158 performances on four continents since July 14, 2022.
His first show this year was on April 20 at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros, ranked No. 1 at Q3 among the top 100 stadiums worldwide in both gross and ticket sales. He played three consecutive nights and grossed over $19.8 million from 179,956 sold tickets. It was his second appearance at the venue on this tour, having performed two shows there in the fall of 2023 during the first Latin American leg.
Three shows in Brazil followed in April and May, one at Rio de Janeiro’s Estádio Nilton Santos and two at São Paulo’s MorumBIS. Those performances added another $13.1 million to the tour’s collective gross, and all three shows attracted more than 51,000 fans.
The tour’s final European leg through 11 countries began in the U.K. on June 11. The opener was a two-show stint at Etihad Stadium in Manchester with $10.6 million from 87,460 sold seats. Running through Sep. 6, the trek through Europe featured a total of 42 concerts in 16 venues with multiple shows booked in all but one of them. Seven venues hosted two shows, and six more staged three concerts, but only one venue had a four-show run. Stade de France, in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, had shows on July 8, 10, 11 and 12 with box-office revenue hitting $47.3 million. Ticket sales over four nights totaled 299,578.
Only Wembley Stadium in London welcomed The Weeknd for five concerts. Between Aug. 14 and 19, he sold 367,997 tickets and grossed $58.2 million. His London event earns the No. 1 spot on this month’s Global Live Boxoffice chart for venues with seating capacities over 30,000.
The Weeknd is well represented on the Q3 charts, as he ranks No. 3 among the top 100 touring artists, behind BTS and Bad Bunny , but he also appears on Pollstar ’s weekly charts. He debuts at No. 1 on LIVE75 with a ticket sales average of 58,993 per show at the final 16 concerts in Europe, from a three-show run at Strawberry Arena in Solna, Sweden, through the final two shows at Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon, Portugal. Then, on Global Concert Pulse , he is No. 4 with a gross average of $8.4 million per show.
